Are you ready for some football! 
 
The only thing that gets some of us through the cold winter 
is the promise of a winning team! Time to suit up for 
football parties. Super Bowl weekend is the first weekend 
of February. Time to start planning the snacks and hearty 
appetizers.  
 
Country Gourmet products are fun and easy to prepare to get 
your game day on. Here are a few ideas for his big day! 
 
*Creamy Potato Soup from Country Gourmet* 
 
Kick our Creamy Potato Soup up a notch by adding diced 
cooked bacon, cheddar cheese and green onions. Add our 
super boy sandwich triangle and you have a meal for the 
Super Bowl gang! Add a can of clams and extra potatoes for 
a hearty clam chowder. 
 
*Superboy Sandwiches!! 
Make our Sesame Garlic Blend into a spread for some great 
tasting gourmet sandwiches. Add smoked turkey, bacon and 
avocado. Make 12 sandwiches and cut them in to triangles 
for a whole tray of bite sized yummies! You can even make 
em’ veggie!  
 
~Chicken Tortilla Soup~ 
Made with our Easy to make tortilla soup mix. 
Another kick off to a hearty soup. Add grilled or cooked 
sliced chicken breast to our tortilla soup mix with some 
tortilla Strips, Monterrey jack cheese, and a big dollop of 
sour cream. To make tortilla strips, just cut corn 
tortillas in to thin strips and deep fry for 1-2 minutes.  
Our Tortilla Soup mix is very easy to make. Just add 
water, and diced tomatoes. 2-4 cooked chicken breasts 
depending on how hearty you want it. Drained can corn can 
also be added! 
 
*Butter Pecan Bars  
Made with our Mama's Butter Pecan Muffin Mix 
These are the Super Bowl of dessert bars. Add 1 stick of 
real butter, (1/2 cup flour optional) and 1 egg to mix and 
stir in pecans. Press mixture into a 9x13 lightly greased 
pan. Then in mixing bowl add 1 8 oz package of softened 
cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 lb box of 
powdered sugar together and mix well. Pour batter over 
cake mix and spread over. Place in preheated 350 degree 
oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. Remove and let cool 
completely before slicing.  
 
*Sunrise Lemon Muffins 
Made with our Sunny Lemon Muffin Mix 
Just follow the directions on our package and add 1 
teaspoon of poppy seeds for a scrumptious morning treat.  
These delicious muffins won’t last, they are so sweet!
