We had the Chicken and Rice bake for dinner tonight and loved it.  I also had to bring a dessert to my mom's club Easter Egg hunt so I made the all around cookies and added pastel kissables, it was so quick and easy that it left me time to bake the Apple crisp for the family (I had to do something to keep them out of the cookies).  Everything was great!  As much as I enjoy making things from scratch, I am so glad to have these high quality quick mixes.  Between being pregnant and now having a baby in the house again, time is not something I have much of.  It's nice to have homemade flavor that doesn't take homemade time.  I think anytime someone I know has a baby, I will put together a basket of the meals and some desserts for them.  It just makes things easier. Thank You, Michelle Mason

Brenda M and Margie have such great ideas and positive attitudes. They get everyone thinking, sharing, and encouraging each other. That very excitement helped me alot.I truly feel like I can succeed! Thank you! ~ Terri in Colorado

I tried the dough-it-all this weekend. I used the bread recipe. I didnt have vegetable oil, so I made it with olive oil. This is a yummy bread. It made a nice crunchy crust, and soft, tasty inside.  I also made the chocolate chip cookies. Another yummy. Has more of a buttery taste than other toll house cookies, and it was "chocked" full of chocolate chips. It made 2 dozen medium size cookies, which lasted only 2 days.  If you haven't tried either one of these, I recommend both. ~ Karen Seifert, TN

Dec 07 - your pecan muffins and i truly have to say they were the best I've tried!  So far, out of all the food companies out there you definately have the top mixes!  I'm NOT just saying that...Andrea, Dalton, GA

OMG. I just made the pumpkin bread with the pumpkin pecan butter. It is Tastalicious! It smelled so fabulous coming out of the oven, I didnt wait for it to cool. It doesnt need butter, cream cheese frosting or anything. It's a yummy stand alone.....Karen, TN

I also wanted to ad how great it is to be with a company that has such great customer service.  I know as the company grows there will be growing pains along with it, but you guys are doing a great job.  I am expecting my 3rd child in Jan so I havn't been able to do that much yet as far as parties and selling, but I can't wait until I can.  I think this is a really great company for direct selling, I'm glad I found you. Michelle

*Sept 07*I made the meatloaf and my 7 year old daughter who "HATES!!" meatloaf loved it. So did my husband and other 2 children! It is absolutly delicious and so easy to make!!!  The tortilla soup is sooo good too! Made it and added tortilla chips to it! So yummy!! Judy

*Well we took our last camping trip this weekend... Made the chicken noodle soup to take with us.. Hubby likes it, so did I... Tonight we had Granny's Apple Crisp, oh so yummy! My son has a new favorite! Tomorrow is meatloaf night.. so we will try that mix on them...

definitely a winner of a catalog...Brenda

*The coco chippers dessert is to die for! I made the version with peanut butter (adding a big old blob...I'm kind of bad about measuring) and added the whole container of generic coolwhip and put it in a homemade graham cracker crust. After sampling it, my friend bought the other package plus quite a few other items. It was the easiest "sale" I ever had!   Karen

Hi!!Just had to let you know how great it was to get my order already.  It's great when an order is placed and it arrives so quickly!!! (I am testing the 6 pepper salsa as I type!!)  YUMMY!! Thank YOU Kaye

First and foremost, I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity to work from home. I truly love the products and I have had great success so far. You were right when you said the products you demo will sell the most. That has been my case. There has only been a few items that I sold that I did not demo at my parties. Thank You, Bobbie

Marge,   Thank You!  I haven't even had my stuff a week and already have two orders.    So far everything I've tried and shared with people has been a big hit.  I personally made the Fiesta Rice Dinner one night and it made a ton.  I have a big eater at my house he had two heapings I had one and still had leftovers.  With those I made enchalata's which were a big hit and still have some leftover for a lunch snack or so.  Anyway looking forward to getting going more. Thank You, Leslie

Your products are wonderful! I received my kit on a Tuesday and everything was gone by Sunday. I was asked yesterday by three people at a Super Bowl get together, why I didn't bring that great dip I made during the playoffs. It was the Creamy Cajun. For them to actually be disappointed that I didn't bring it speaks volumes. I'm really looking forward to sharing these products with everyone. Thanks Nancy

Hi Margie, I received my products today. Wow are they good. I made the Hearty Chicken Soup with the Biscuits for dinner. And we had the Orange Smoothies for a snack. Delicious. Diane P.

Thank-you! I used the samples that you sent me to get started for my baby shower over the weekend. I made the Creamy Cajun dip and the Sesame Garlic Cheese ball rolled in Parsley. Not only were they super easy to make (I had never attempted a cheese ball before!) but they tasted wonderful! Everyone at the shower insisted that I pass on the recipes to them. The hostess' husband was the biggest fan and even kept the leftovers afterward. The only thing I would have done differently is to bring more crackers! They ate the dip and cheese ball until all the crackers were gone. I have told everyone about the products and have told them about my recent decision to become a consultant. I am very excited about spreading the news and great taste of Country Gourmet!     I have searched high and low for something I can do from home after I have my baby. I have refused to get myself involved with trying to sell something I myself wont use. I am not the type of person that can fake the enthusiasm needed to "sell" something from home, but I don't have to with Country Gourmet! Not only am I already excited about products that I love, but they really do sell themselves. Country Gourmet is a line of products that allows busy women and moms to have gourmet taste with minimal effort... who can argue with that? Thank-you for the opportunity you have given me to make money from home while making the lives of busy moms easier!

Kutztown, PA Margie, We made the brownies last night. I was hesistant since all I had to add was water, but they were amazingly good! Very chocolatey & yummy! My 14 yr.old couldn't open her mouth because she was eating, but she gave a huge smile & a thumbs up. My 11 yr. old did her rendition of Rachel Ray & say "these are quite good." : )  Gina

Livingston, Texas Margie, you have to hurry and get your new 2007 catalogs out to me when you get them.  My ladies are waiting to try the new products!  Can't believe how easy it is to make bread, it is a hit! Theresa

My party on Friday was Fantastic!!!  She had 8 people in attendance including herself.  She had just under $100 in outside orders before I got there.  When I tallied up her party totals at the end of the night she was just under $400 in sales.  She also has two people who want to have tastings of their own in April and May.  Diane

Hi I made this as a cheese ball!! (I always use 2, 8oz bricks of cream cheese for all my cheese balls, they still taste fabulous and last a bit longer!!!) Anyways, it was a hit VERY YUMMY...I think making it right before serving is nice as the bacon bits are crunchy!!!  Erin

Your cookies are great! But my husband loves the Raspberry Jalapeno Jam. Can we order a case? Our party was a success and the hit of the evening was the Raspberry Jalepeno Jam on the Scrumptious Soda Bread. Tracy

LETTER from Livingston, Texas

There were 14 attending the party tonight. Dee Dee came and we took pics for you. The big hit of the evening was the roast made with the French Onion Mix and the Soda Bread! A new hire, Gina, came and won the gift basket. 5 people will turn their orders in Monday (payday). At the party we did $199.70 not including shipping. Add that with the $135.95 I faxed and that is a total of $335.65. I will be faxing you the order Monday when the others turn in.

The pictures of Mairelyn (our Hostess) are going to be good in her apron holding a few of the dishes. She is beautiful. It would be fun to see her pic on your website if possible. I thought the party was a success and everyone liked how easy their dish was to prepare. We are all in to easy stuff because we are so busy. We passed around your cook book (one sold and I hope you autograph it. Her name is Jayne and she collects cook books) and your Woman's Day magazine. Very proud of you so it was easy talking about you and your products.

Love, Mel

Letter from Heather (Gourmet Consultant, Utah)

Dear Country Gourmet Home- I want to thank you for the opportunity to be a consultant. Country Gourmet Home is a super exciting company to work for. All of the products are awesome and time saving. I really enjoy the flexibility and the earning potential. I like being in control of my income potential. I am a stay at home mom of 3 almost 4 and really enjoy getting out and visiting with other women. My children benefit as much as I do when we separate for a night. My first party May, 2005, was the first party Country Gourmet Home had and was a great and successful experience. I had 10 women attend and they all loved the items that were prepared. The most popular were the Smoothies. Each guest ordered at least one item. That party sold $150 worth of products. I have a neighbor who still gets 2-3 orange smoothies a month from me. My third party was even more wonderful. The Cajun Cheese Ball was the most loved. The raspberry jalapeno jam and soda bread were a big hit. They were amazed that yummy bread could be made with a mix and soda. There were 15 women in attendance and I sold $200 worth of products. The hostess earned a cookie jar and was thrilled.

Thanks again, Heather  - Utah Gourmet Consultant
